Why Natik?

Inhuman Face Of Capital

What’s wrong with the way we buy? We are expected to buy too much, too often.

The economy of today is based on Industrialization.

Industrialization begun somewhere in the seventeenth century, when we started mass production in factories using machines.

Setting up factories required large capital.

Those who invested, expected secured and quick profits. (Anyone will).

Mass production also meant that things were produced in large quantities; very large quantities.

To sell these large produce (and realize profits), ‘market’ system was created.

And, then the “marketing” system.

Through the ‘marketing’, people (common people) were pushed to BUY.

Psychological gimmicks are also used – “you must have this”, “you deserve this”, “you must get the best”, “buying a car, we will make it easy”, “buy one get one free”

In few words, to make profits, all the moral and ethical compasses were broken.

Market, in general became unethical. Sellers and makers with genuine intent and talent too find it difficult to survive.

The capitalism, the greed for profit to be more precise; is now doing enough harm. It is powerful enough to take on any initiative to set things right again.

We are taking up that challenge at Naitik.
